After arriving on Isla Contoy, there is a short orientation from a knowledgeable, certified guide who will explain the history and significance of the island. Next is a guided waling tour that includes a visit to the island's marine museum, exploring secluded nature trails among diverse flora and fauna, and bird watching over the hidden mangroves. This is when our guests experience why Isla Contoy tops the list as one of nature's best things to do in Cancun! Visitors are also welcome to go eco-exploring on their own or lounge under a palm tree on the powdery soft, white sand beach. A delicious lunch is served under a palapa (vaulted roof made of palm leaves) including Mayan-style barbecue fish (tikin-xic), grilled marinated chicken, tossed green salad, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a variety of domestic beverage options. After a short boat trip from Isla Contoy to Isla Mujeres, there will be approximately fifty minutes to go shopping for local handcrafts, enjoy beverages at a quaint cantina, or stroll along the world-famous Playa Norte (North Beach) and malecon (pier).

At the conclusion of your visit to Isla Mujeres, you will embark on your return voyage to our marina at Punta Sam in Cancun. After disembarking at approximately 5 PM, you will be driven by air-conditioned van back to your resort or vacation rental. (Note: guests may avail themselves of the many wonderful things to do in Cancun by requesting to be dropped off in Centro (downtown) or Cancun Hotel Zone. Those who choose this option would be responsible for arranging transportation to their accommodation).
